After all the fun of the Original Malawi Uniques event last year, we are bringing back the opportunity to add these stunning treasures to your collection! Plus, your chance to win 2 amazing prizes.

“Uniques” is the term referring to the one-of-a-kind beads created at Trollbeads workshops in India and Africa and sold worldwide. This started as a small charity project but has grown into an important part of Trollbeads, both for the company and for our customers.

For our online showcase, you’ll get to discover colourful and tribal designs brought to life by the efforts and passion of makers based in Malawi.

What makes these beads so special? The Malawi uniques are universally cored which means that they can be worn on most bracelet brands! They are characterized by their colourful designs – they are truly ONE of a Kind.

Designs are very reminiscent of:

Aboriginal art – lots of dots and lots of solid colors
Everyday lives; the pattern of a woman’s vibrant dress
A combination of exotic fruits in the marketplace
A local flower in the savannah
Rock art can be found throughout the country

These beads will be available for sale at our online live event, AND we will be giving away two enchanting prizes, the Malawi Necklace and Malawi Bracelet, created exclusively by Lise Aagaard herself!

All Malawi Uniques are $30 each, or buy 4-9 for $25 each OR buy 10 or more for $20 each. A selection of specially-curated kits of 4 are $100 per kit, plus we have kits of 10 at $200. These beads will never be repeated – and each is vibrant, expertly crafted with care and utterly unique. Collectors won’t want to miss this opportunity.
